As many parents have to stay home with their children, Audible comes with a small relief and releases plenty of children’s books without a monthly fee.
Alice in Wonderland, Winnie the Pooh, Peter Rabbit and Friends and hundreds of other titles aimed at kids and younger audiences are now available for free on Audible. And you don’t even need to subscribe to the streaming service – the rich selection of audiobooks is accessible to anyone via the link below.
The project called Audible Stories is further divided into segments such as Little Listeners, Elementary and Tweens and provides books in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese and Italian.
“Stories will be here so kids everywhere and of all ages can stream incredible content to keep their minds engaged while daily routines are disrupted in these unprecedented circumstances. For as long as schools are closed, we’re Literary Classics open,” says the website.
Explore the collection, select a title and start listening.
But you don’t need to be a kid to enjoy Audible Stories –– the section Literary Classics is filled with more than twenty masterpieces, from John Milton’s Paradise Lost to The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka.
And if you love to read, make sure you check out Apple Books, which is giving away classics and modern novels.
