The four-hour drag cabaret Queeriosity Unplugged will be streamed live on Saturday, April 4 and feature performers from all across the world.
It seems no crisis is big enough to make drag queens put away their synthetic wigs and fake eyelashes.
After a series of live spectacles that occurred over the last weekend, this Saturday will witness the largest online drag show to date. Called Queeriosity Unplugged, the four-hour festival streamed via Twitch will feature gender illusionists from Great Britain, USA, Italy, Germany, and France.
Orchestrated by British performer Donna Trump, the line-up includes RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Nina West and household names such as L.A.’s Meatball and Tito Soto, Quiches Lorraine from London or Daphne Bohemien from the north-Italian city of Milan.
A drag show is not complete without tipping, but this time, half of all donations will contribute to the manufacture of medical masks for the National Health Service in the UK. And while the suggested charge is $5 or £3, you can give just what you can during the live broadcast or whenever after via PayPal.
“I’ve invited artists I adore, admire and have worked with over my four-year drag career. Somebody asked me earlier if I was trying to achieve the Live Aid of drag,” explains Donna.
A four-hour live cabaret extravaganza starts on Saturday, April 4 at 8 p.m. GMT on Twitch.
